Examines the effect of further training on wage growth in West Germany for the years 1984 to 1992, by using data from the German Socio-Economic Panel (GSOEP). Nature of further training in Germany; Scope of further training in Germany as compared to Great Britain; Examination of the effects of further training on the growth of wages; Conclusions reached by the study.
