Abstract
This study was undertaken to provide an osteological analysis of the human skeletal remains recovered as a result of the 1984 rescue archaeology project DdKi-2 Fort Francis, Ontario intiated by the Ontario Notherwestern Regional Archaeologists office. A Major component of the analysis has focused upon the application of multi analytical trace element techniques, especially Proton Induced X-ray Emission Spectroscopy (PIXE)to the problem of trace elements in human bone.
