Abstract

The legal aspects of non medical prescribing are discussed in detail.The role of the non-medical prescriber is examined in relation to accountability and professional responsibilities. Examples of legal cases and how these apply to everyday practice are discussed. The role of the regulatory authorities is also outlined.
