Abstract
Nine visual explosions have been devised using an innovative spherical camera designed by the artist. Sequences draw on references to clowning and mime and explore the irreverent use of the camera. The dancer holds the camera and is in shot filming themselves. The camera is part of the movement so the watchers are in turn swooping, rolling and flying. Created with a grant from Christchurch Visual Arts Grants for National Touring.
