Abstract

Reports on the University of Kent's Lawpaths project which aims to provide law students with a customisable database of legal materials to assist them in developing their legal research skills. Outlines the background to the scheme, its objectives and potential benefits for law librarians, teachers and students, highlighting the changing role of information professionals in academic institutions. Reviews the possible applications of Lawpaths in further or higher education and the remaining project goals.
