Abstract

A contribution to the understanding of Coleridge's Malta peroid. In particular the book contains the first detailed legal analysis of the Bandi and Avvisi that Coelridge was responsible for as the Public Secretary, in 1805, to the British Civil Commissioner Sir Alexander Ball. The first complete translations of these instuments is also published.
