Abstract
The part that reflection plays in all good quality learning and how this links with employability is explored in this guide. In particular it considers reflection as: a means for students to "gain, maintain awareness of, express and explore their abilities in general, and particularly in recruitment processes"; "a preparation for lifelong learning"; and "within employment as a function that underpins other aspects of employability". It discusses the role of reflective practice in: personal development planning; modules or curricula, particularly those involving professional development; learning journals; and work related learning
