Abstract
The author discusses the 2006 Companies Act and how it could have been better communicated. He states that the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (DBERR) extended the "Company Law Handbook" too much and great care needs to be taken as to implementation of all the new laws. He says that the British government's intentions as to how the Act should be fulfilled is commendable and praises the then minister Margaret Hodge.
