Abstract

The authors conclude their three part study on postnatal recovery. As part of our study into the routine assessment by midwives of postpartum uterine involution and blood loss a recorded by the mothers, postnatal women completed questionnaires and kept diaries of their experiences. This final article describes the survey, gives the results relating to the women's assessment of their own uterus and summarises the three articles.
