Abstract
This chapter discusses the findings from qualitative studies of coronary heart disease risk-related behaviour among low-income women and their children; looks at adverse influences outside the family on such behaviour; and makes recommendations for action to reduce the problems of low-income families at risk from coronary heart disease.
