Abstract
The Blogging @ Bournemouth University project commenced in July 2005 and has been running for over a year. It aims to research blogging, examining current good practice and focusing on the emergent area of edublogging (the educational use of blogs). The project has also initiated a range of case studies with staff and students from two Academic schools - the Institute of Health & Community Studies and Services Management - using a variety of blogging tools hosted externally and internally. This paper brings together the project findings so far to provide a thought provoking evaluation which will help to inform future strategy regarding the use of blogs as learning and teaching tools at Bournemouth University.
