Abstract

Following the successful launch of 'Making a Difference' last year the authors received a lot of positive feedback but were aware that there were some 'gaps' in this work and therefore this revised Second Edition attempts to fill them and also to provide an update regarding the role of the Training Support Grant. New sections surround the area of Equal Opportunity and Training, guidance on Managing the Training Support Programme, and update on the Training Support Programme and its targets and a section looking at Training Leading to Qualifications. In addition the Resources section has been updated.
