Abstract
Sean Street tells the story of the earthquake and subsequent fire that hit San Francisco early on the morning of April 18, 1906, virtually destroying the city. One hundred years on, the legacy lingers. Sean talks to residents, including two survivors, who still live on the San Andreas Fault, and looks at eye-witness accounts such as those left by opera singer Enrico Caruso and writer Jack London
