Abstract
This invited talk pays tribute to Professor Guy Starkey's legacy by discussing the resilience of radio and of Radio Studies as a field of research. In particular, it focuses on Radio Studies as interdisciplinary. One of the examples used is from my own work, and particular the strand of my work that aims to connect radio and architecture through the concept of atmosphere.
