Abstract
HM Treasury has published information showing that the value of the global economy will double by 2020. This requires installation of a large global networking infrastructure, much of which will need a large increase in network design professionals and configuration management personel to manage innovations. This poster positions DECs postgraduate and research strengths in the area of Computer Networking and explores possible future directions that will unite teaching, enterprise and research opportunites.
