Abstract
This work explores the use of MPQ online facilities within the Blackboard v8 VLE (MyBU)at Bournemouth. It enables tutors to set and administer coursework tests to large cohorts. Initial findings show that students initially engaged beter with the unit, subsequent engagement was poor. Other work suggests better integration between MyBU and Cisco's learning material can improve the stuent experience. Future work will investigate these options.
