Abstract
Highlights: Demonstrates that tourism and leisure have a place within the public health agenda. Highlights the value of dialogue between tourism businesses and the health sector. Advocates social innovation as a means to inform policy responses for healthy ageing. Tourism businesses can facilitate healthy ageing events for tourists and residents.
