Abstract

Launched in November 2021 as part of the Fusion Learning Project, Understanding Research Methods (URM) has been created to support BU students with the development of their research skills. Located on our Brightspace VLE, available modules include fundamental, intermediate and advanced levels of research methods. Where appropriate, Understanding Research Methods also links to key library resources. Materials in each module have been created by BU colleagues from across the Faculties and the Professional Services, and there have been over 7.5k student visits in the first 6 months of being active.
